Business TravelLess Transfats In Ny
» desertblue - transfats are evil Re: Dan's NYC transfats laws blog -http://businesstravel.suite101.com/blogs... this is really great news! thanks for spreading the word about NYC's transfats. you can only do so much to eat healthy at a restaurant (having stuff on the side is one way) but you are really still stuck with what you are given. I never really thought about how much this kind of thing was prevalent. hmmm. me not happy. now if only my town made a law like this... -- posted by desertblue

Transfats really are from the Dark Side, but can NY really illegalize them? I mean, the city isn't awash in cash as it is, and enforcing a law that many will have trouble accomodating sounds like a budgetary problem. Thanks for the info, Dan; I guess we'll have to wait and see!Jen

For places already using Olive Oil, for example, it's already in the bag and tastes better too. Even McDonalds is getting off the transfats train (better to do it voluntarily before you HAVE to). -- posted by desertblue » danflorio - transfats are evil In response to transfats are evil posted by trevy:
